The AHA was saddened to learn of the death AHA member Sally Percival Wood, a highly respected Melbourne-based historian with an interest in the political, cultural and social upheavals brought about by decolonisation in the twentieth-century. Sally completed her PhD at Deakin University in 2011, after which she worked as Manager, Applied Research and Analysis at Asialink, University of Melbourne. She returned to Deakin University as Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Citizenship and Globalisation in 2013. Her most recent book Dissent: The Student Press in 1960s Australia, was published by Scribe last year. We offer our sincere condolences to Sally’s family, friends and colleagues.
