The AHA is deeply saddened by the death of distinguished Australian historian and long-time AHA member Emeritus Professor Ken Inglis on 1 December 2017. The quality of his scholarship is evident his many influential works on a wide range of social and cultural issues of Australia’s history, including Sacred Places: War Memorials in the Australian Landscape and the two-volume history of the ABC, This is the ABC and Whose ABC? He will also be fondly remembered for his warmth, wisdom and generosity as a teacher, colleague and friend. We express our sincere condolences to his family.
