History Australia is the official journal of the Australian Historical Association. It publishes high quality and innovative scholarship in any field of history. Its goal is to reflect the breadth and vibrancy of the historical community in Australia and further afield. We welcome original research in Australian, international or transnational history.
History Australia is published 4 times per year by Taylor & Francis and is overseen by an international editorial board. All articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process before being accepted for publication.
History Australia accepts research articles (not exceeding 10,000 words), history in practice articles, book reviews, and exhibition/film/television reviews.
