Associate Professors and Professors (Level D & E or equivalent) in full-time paid employment

People in paid employment residing overseas for the year of membership

A person who is in a fixed term position (1 year’s duration or under) OR retired

A person who is unemployed, sessionally or casually employed, employed under 0.4FTE, or a holder of a health care card or similar

Enrolled postgraduates

Primary or secondary school teachers

Scholarly historical organisations which support the objectives and constitution of the AHA. Affiliates do not have the right to vote and stand for election. Members of affiliated organisations need to be individual members of the AHA to present at annual AHA conferences.
