Indigenous Languages Summer School Workshop Applications Open

14-15th January 2019, Charles Darwin University, Sydney

The Australian Indigenous Language Institute is a partnership between universities to make learning an Indigenous language more accessible to all Australians. We are running a Summer School in 2019, offering study in the following languages both as a one-off workshop or as part of their accredited university study: Gamilaraay Language  – an important language from north eastern NSW (delivered in association with ANU); Yolngu Language – from north east Arnhemland in the NT; or Linguistics for Indigenous Languages  – a great introduction to the use of linguistics in building your understanding of Indigenous languages (delivered in association with Batchelor Institute.
