The APS5, full time, ongoing Historian position is located in Canberra. The AAHU team are a blend of APS and Army personnel who work collaboratively to support the recording and preservation of Army’s history and the Army Museum Network, which consists of 18 Museums located across the country. The History Section has several functions including managing the AAHU publishing program, the Army History Grants Scheme, the Australian Army Battle Honours Committee and researching and documenting Army’s military history. The work of the team is diverse, creating an interesting and rewarding work environment.
