The theme of the 26th annual AMHA conference is ‘Diversity: Dig into Mining History and Heritage.’ The Bathurst region is the cradle of early copper mining in NSW and the birthplace of the first Australian gold rushes. There will be field trips to some of the iconic and historic sites in this scenic area. The conference will feature both oral and poster presentations. Student grants available.
