Antipodes, journal of the American Association for Australasian Literary Studies (AAALS), is seeking submissions for a special issue devoted to the topic “Australian and New Zealand Cinema”. Essays may address individual films or take a comparative approach that seeks to draw connections and contrasts between films from Australia and New Zealand. Different methodological approaches are encouraged, including historical theory-informed analysis and others. Essays should be 5500-7000 words in length and follow MLA style. Submissions are due 1 December 2020.
