The European Society for Environmental History wishes to host a conference for a post-plague world. This conference resists a ‘return to normality’ and wishes to use this opportunity to imagine both new historical conversation formats, and the possibilities for historical disciplines. The conference will be held 5-9 July 2021, at the University of Bristol (UK), and will offer some online possibilities for livestreams, poster sessions, and other opportunities. Abstracts and proposals are due 31 October 2020.
