Commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for the Documents on Australian Foreign Policy (DAFP) series, this volume is the first comprehensive documentary survey of Australia’s involvement in the Suez Crisis of the 1950s. The volume is based on a thorough review of archival materials and includes many items not previously accessible or discussed in the historical literature. The volume provides the evidence to assess the contributions of Prime Minister R. G.
