Congratulations to Rob Hess and co-authors for the publication of Australia’s Game: The History of Australian Football (Hardie Grant, 2021). The book traces the evolution of the game from it’s earliest forms in the nineteenth century to the totally professional code of the modern era. It also explores the rise of women’s football from its beginnings in 1915.
