2021 State Library of New South Wales Fellowships

A range of Library Fellowships are now open for applications:  

The Ross Steele AM Fellowship supporting research into the State Library of NSW pictorial collections;  

The Coral Thomas Fellowship encourages deep and focused research into Australian culture, history and society, drawing on Australian and international research collections;  

The Dr AM Hertzberg AO Fellowship supports research into any aspect of the social, cultural and political history of industry and manufacturing in Australia;  

The David Scott Mitchell Memorial Fellowship encourages and supports the use of the State Library of NSW collections for the study and research of Australian history;  

The Merewether Fellowship encourages and supports the use of the State Library of NSW’s collections for the study and research of nineteenth-century New South Wales history; The CH Currey Fellowship supports the writing of Australian history from original sources, preferably the resources of the State Library of NSW;  

The Nancy Keesing AM Fellowship supports research into any aspect of Australian life and culture using the resources of the SLNSW; and  

The Australian Religious History Fellowship supports the study and research of any aspect of Australian religious history of any faith.
