‘Australia’s War Crimes Trials 1945–51’

Congratulations to the AHA’s Georgina Fitzpatrick, who, with Tim McCormack and Narrelle Morris, has published Australia’s War Crimes Trials 1945–51 (Brill Nijhoff, 2016 [International Humanitarian Law Series, No 48]). She covers topics such as the execution of captured airmen, cannibalism, death sentences and eight more chapters on each of the locations where the Australian military conducted a total of 300 war crimes trials in the aftermath of the Pacific War, 1941–45.
